    Ticket Taker

    Ticket Seller (Former Employee)
    Gurnee, IL

ProsFree admission to the park. It's an easy first job, not bad for someone looking to make some money over the summer.

ConsThey have a ridiculous point system where if you acummulate enough points you get teminated on the spot without a discussion. Long days, outside the majority of the time unless you work in food.

Advice to Senior Managementlonger lunch breaks. Get rid of the point system.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Prosgood first job, if you're young working at a park may be fun

    A good first job

    Ride Operator (Former Employee)
    San Antonio, TX

ProsThe jobs are straighter forward, and they observe most holidays.

ConsThe weather is your worst enemy, sometimes it will cancel work; or it may rain. They won't let you wear coats or rain gear from home.

    Life Guard

    Lifeguard (Former Employee)
    Los Angeles, CA

ProsSo much fun, Great summer job with a lot of people looking to get money to fund summer activities. Very flexible hours and the ability to ask for days off within two weeks.

ConsYoung and inexperienced management. Sure it sucks to work on fourth of July as a kid, but you are working a summer job as a lifeguard... so what do you expect.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe micromanaging at all levels cuts back on employee success.
