    Pros

Good environment to work in. Makes a lot of effort to do the right things. Great for greenies

    Cons

recruiting too fast and losing experience faster. To many initiative which don't get followed through

    Advice to Management

Take more notice of grass roots

    Pros

Good contract and benefits for salaried staff

    Cons

As long as your face fits you will be fine in the company, if not you are left to your own devices.

  3. Very good overall, but lots of fluff around

    Pros

Size, prestige, transparent, motivating, global reach, good training

    Cons

    Lots fluff around.

The company can be relaxed about project deliveries if done completely though their joint ventures partners. This is not good for their staff development.

    Advice to Management

Push for your staff to progress and lead on your JVs.

Make your shares award tax free like many shares ownership of other UK employers

    Pros

Big company solidity and prestigious international 'name'.

    Cons

Frustrating working arrangements, poor ICT, pay levels are well below market norm and workload is heavy due to inadequate staffing levels and cumbersome operational structures. Quite high turnover of personnel in many critical roles, leading to lots of Temps/Interims filling strategically critical roles. For example, four different people have held a critical post in the last 12 months and all three of the previous incumbents have left for better paid jobs performing the same role elsewhere. The inability of Management to make quite obvious positive decisions for the good of the business is quite incredible.

    Advice to Management

Pay your staff at least the market rate and treat them with more respect, if you wish to have any hope of retaining anyone of any competency or value. At present, all the good ones leave. At the very least keep your promises and support your personnel properly in their efforts to serve the best interests of the business.

Not as fair as they proclaim to be. Style over substance.
