    Pros

Great people, solid product and generally a fun environment.

    Cons

at times to ambitious with what can be done, given the resources. That had the affect of creating an environment where people felt they were unable to catch up or stay caught up.

    Just say "No"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in Menlo Park, CA

    Pros

    - Working hours are flexible; meaning that most people basically work part-time

    - Base salaries are "at market" you will be told. Just do not look for anything more than that

    - They are so understaffed that you have job security since they cannot afford to fire anyone even the ones that are not doing a good job

    - The company is financially stable with good revenue

    - Some very nice people that are too scared to find new jobs

    Cons

    - Incompetent management

    - No vision or multiple, disjointed visions depending on the day and who you ask; if you ask the next day you will get a different answer because it will have changed

    - Culture of "lie now and figure it out later"

    - Software is too complicated. They try to be everything to everyone with the result that nobody is happy.

    - They are in a market that has little growth opportunity and where the customers do not like to adopt technology

    - Management cannot ever agree with each other (expect that every meeting will be yelling)

    - People are unhappy there

Just don't bother there are many other good companies in this country that need you to help and will respect you more.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire new management or sell the company now before it is too late. Too many "old dogs" to teach "new tricks".

Former Employee - Product Management/Engineering/Professional Services in Menlo Park, CA

    Pros

Some engineers are nice to work with.

    Cons

Wrong people doing Product Manager job...they are just hurting the company and the people working.

Bunch of rude, unprofessional, and unworthy people with NO intelligence. Especially some newly recruited Managers should be shown the front door.

People working more than three years have "Who is the Boss" type attitude.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

HR needs to have strong policies.
Stop recruiting and focus on existing employees

Former Employee - IT in Menlo Park, CA

    Pros

Good salary . No need to learn new technologies.

    Cons

Very out dated technology, no proper company policies in place. Very trival things will be escalated to highest rank possible. Some people in the team are specially there to monitor your desktop to find whether you are working or browsing, and pass this information to team heads.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should also focus on what is going on in the company rather than just focusing on company's quarterly results and other commerical updates.

    Pros
