    Good to work for!

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGet lots of empowerment in role. Benefits are great.

ConsLack of process and consistency across organisation can be frustrating. Some politics with senior managers but pockets of this, not generic across all of organisation.

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to review departments, lots of people seem to be doing the same thing ut in diffeent departments. Need to be consistent on salary levels and bonuses.

    If your face fits

    Anonymous (Former Employee)
    Livingston, Scotland (UK)

ProsFun people, excellent benefits. Some hard-working, intelligent people who cared.

ConsIf your face fits, you will go far in this company. If you have a good manager then you are stored, but there are a lot of managers that have been there for years, part of the wood work and they don't know how to manage.

As a company, they fire fight, no strategic plan.

People were managed out there job, who should have been as they were good at there jobs.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Values must come from the top

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsHuge drive and appetite to win. Desire to be the very best. Very customer focused. Strong brand in the UK which is becoming more central to people's lives.

ConsAsks the employees to embody values that are not demonstrated by the executives at the top, and then wonders why it is not working. Has an executive culture of mistrust and scapegoating. Undervalues the role of technology and the people who work in the technology team. Treats technology as an overhead that is managed through aggressive cost control by people in finance who have no understanding, rather than a resource that can differentiate us from our competitors.

Advice to Senior ManagementFire the executives who display the worst behaviours and bring in people who can actually collaborate and build trust within their teams.

    Not brilliant

    Walker (Current Employee)

ProsWhen sky want to be fair and honest they are one of the best company's I have ever worked for. Free sky is great

ConsPoor communication.... More like dictation. Poor treatment of staff. Double standards between management different rules for different teams.

Advice to Senior ManagementSky state believe in better but staff in sale don't feel that way and lots of the top sales staff are leaving, as your taking money off of us for giving offers to customer poor training. It's a dictatorship you should start to listen to the people at the bottom to help the business get better I have personal never meet anyone in a higher then my manger not even his manager poor experience
