I enjoy working for Skyworks because my work is challenging and interesting, my coworkers are easy to work with, there is some flexibility in the working hours, telecommuting part of the time is allowed based on job function and manager, and the senior management is good about communicating with the entire company once every quarter. In addition, the company has an end of year shutdown for about 7 to 8 working days starting before Christmas and ending after New Year's.
Cons
The company has a small company mentality when it comes to how it spends money. It does not always think long term in how it chooses to spend money.
Advice to Senior Management
I would advise the management not to be so aggressive with IT project time lines. Things are not going to go well if a project is rushed. In addition, I would suggest the management give better pay raises to the top performing employees.

You may be able to try many things. It's good for beginner to learn RFIC / MMIC design and layout skill.
Cons
Job performance is not well recognized by company or manager. Need to spend money for people who did a good job.

Too much deviation of salary is shown in different group. In a certain group, no salary increase is expected. Need to reconsider it. Be fair.

Great people, nice infrastructure, business best practices, CEO actively engaged with employees in coffee chats etc. communication excellent.

Small company getting smaller over the years. Most of the west coast senior management transferred to the east. On west coast employees are only in one building now. Very sensitive to business and industry cycles. layoffs and lack of security is common.

Aside from a few senior managers, hr was not the level the organization needed - nor were the policies or the way he handled issues completely equitable.

it' is OK to work for this company. For my position, I'm not very busy. I have some chance to learn some new staff.

The group leader doesn't know much about what the group are doing and has bad management skills. The benefits are so so.
