    Pros

Most employees tend to work together cooperatively. Company is growing. Can be a plus for some.

    Cons

Investors have bar set very high for this company. Used to exponential growth and cost cutting every quarter. While a good number have been there for 10+ years, can't assume job is secure. Not new hire friendly. High learning curve, and almost non-existent training and procedures available.T here are a lot of changes within the organization that may not always consider every employee.

    Pros

Most of people are very friendly and always willimg to help. Great place to be in now especially it is rapidly growing. A lot of opportunities as an engineer.

    Cons

Documentation is not that great. But otherwise, everything else is great as long as you position yourself in right project.

    Advice to Management

Please keep up with everything we do now. I would love to see more improvement in the future.

    Pros

    Family friendly, Progressive, Innovative
    Amazing benefits package

    Cons

Promotions are hard to come by and salary increases don't come with promotions
    Salary increases are unimpressive

    Advice to Management

The company is doing well. Loosen up the purse strings just a little bit for the non-salaried level employees. We're working just as hard.

    Pros

The office is located in a nice area (UC Irvine campus). The Finance VP is enthusiastic and easy to talk with. The company has a flat structure and every low turn over rate.

    Cons

They don't have clear career path, say you don't know where you will be after 3 years. Almost everyone there has worked over 8 years, I feel like they really need some young and innovative people to help improve the culture.

    Pros

Some good people in company. Pay was decent and bonus was ok.

    Cons

Middle mgmt is very inexperienced and it's too bad that their influence is so important in decisions. It's not what you know but who, to get ahead. Too many politics being played and finger pointing. Being thrown under the bus was a daily activity, by your manager who is suppose to be backing you up. Morale is low and people walking around scared for their jobs. Cannot trust your co workers, like another person posted, you will stabbed in the back before you know lit.

    Advice to Management

This company will fail if there are not closer controls on quality and budgets. Travel that is allowed is ridiculous. People go overseas, supposedly for customer visits, and never see a customer just visit their family. Your people work hard but are not rewarded unless you are one of the good ole boys and know how to brown nose. Quality of products is horrible customer returns due to lack of reliability testing or data is changed to meet specs. Pay attention Senior mgmt to what is going on in the company not ONLY stock market!

    Pros

Good people, decent compensation. Company has plenty of resources both financial and human and aims to be a force in the market. Work life balance is reasonable and culture is generally positive.

    Cons

New leadership is brutal and will slash jobs even when the people and the company are doing great. Anything to improve the bottom line. During my time there we experienced several job actions a year - even business units that were doing a great job for the company and key performers were shown the door based on the whims of executive management.

    Advice to Management

Your aggressiveness in axing jobs (even in good times and with good performers) will kill the company. Show some loyalty to the people who put you where you are. Dave Aldrich is a good guy, but his successor (Liam Griffin) is a ruthless tyrant who axe anyone that isn't his buddy.

    Pros

Their supply chain and customer relationships are the best in the industry. Depending on your position and role, you get good exposure to Tier 1 customers/partners, as well as state-of-the-art supply chain and vendor capabilities. Stock has done well. If you just want to do your job, take your paycheck and not be too motivated to make a difference, this is a good place.

    Cons

It's like a shark tank - heavy politics and finger pointing on lower management by upper management. The culture is evident as all senior management positions are held by sales/marketing professionals with no technical experience or exposure. They have a tendency to block strong technical folks from going up the ladder. The company is always chasing sockets and is never the first one as minimal resources are invested in technology/research. It's all about pleasing the Wall Street. If you lack technical prowess, have done well in a highly political organization, and love your old school 8 - 5 office hours, this is the place to be. Flexible schedules are frowned upon.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in R&D, make your engineering feel more valued than your sales/operations/marketing, after all they design what you sell or market and is the most difficult talent to come by.

    Pros

Large company with a lot of resources and established processes (can also be a con), makes for a relatively straightforward transition from school. Lots of highly experienced employees. Very solid pay + benefits (including stock options and grants at entry level). Design, manufacturing, testing, FA and customer support are all done on site (at least at Newbury Park) so you can be exposed to all sides of the business.

    Cons

Large company with established procedures, so some positions can be repetitive. There is some tension between different departments that can hamper progress due to finger pointing and posturing. Many people do work long hours, although it varies a lot by position
