I have been working at Skyy

    Pros

It's a really interesting and fun company to work for. It's essentially a marketing company so there is a lot of free gadgets and free things, including an alcohol allotment monthly.

    Cons

It could get very busy at times.

Overtime is a requirement and if you make a mistake they will likely fire you.

    I worked at Skyy

    Pros

On occasion you are invited to attend a party to experience and taste certain brands.

    Cons

Got rid of all the company perks, they will expect overtime on a regular basis, very little training and guidance, and if you make a mistake or an error mgmt will most likely fire you. Not a very supportive environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest the time to train and mentor your staff.

Used to be great, now decreasing performance and satisfaction with ownership change and management appointments

    I worked at Skyy

    Pros

great products, good industry and many dedicated people trying to make a difference

    Cons

managers being installed by parent company have very limited understanding of how to work effectively in the U.S. markets and Bay Area in particular. Not as interested in real performance and support of teams, more positioning and personal lifestyles

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't lose the fast moving small company atmosphere any more than you already have and make sure that top management is of quality expected from a major industry player. Not there now.
