    Pros

Co-workers are hard-working and intelligent, very social environment that encourages teamwork.

    Cons

Awful pay that is far below industry standards, poor benefits, ownership and management that do not adhere to any discernible professional standards, micromanagement of staff.

    Advice to Management

Members of staff are not you personal property to do with as you please. Your conduct is often downright abusive and accounts for the very high turnover at this firm. Address the pay issues and lack of respectable benefits and treat employees with respect.

  3. Creativity encouraged, compensation not to follow.

    Pros

The flexibility of the organization is immense. Support for work/life balance is offered from management, and the owner/s of the company. A family atmosphere is encouraged within the organization. Self directed to take ownership of projects & various work activities.

    Cons

High level management not always available. Financial incentives were lacking to foster growth and advancement opportunities. The organization is located in a economically depressed area.

    Advice to Management

Organize monthly meetings to talk about events affecting the organization. Let people talk about changes they would like to see happen. Listen. Compensate fairly, and above the lowest national average for the work that people do.
