    ProsWork and the ownership you are given to finish a task. You are the whole and sole caretaker of all your projects and analysis.

    ConsCompany is not employee oriented. Very weird criteria of rating and reviewing an employee. You will be so happy to work day and night for the company but in the end you find that the company is not that supportive.

    Flexible environment, goal centric and like minded people

    Advice to Senior ManagementInvest in employees like build a recreational room, canteen, etc. Give at least 10% to employees to research or for their own growth.

    InCompetive HR

    Pros1. No Perks .
    2. No appraisal.
    3. No Chair.
    4. No Party.
    5. No Internet.
    6. No Electricity.
    7. No Reimbursement.
    8. No Wifi.
    9. No Laptops.
    10. Free Bioometric machines it seems: You would have to thumb it 4-5 times to get through. Then you would make out that gate was never locked. :)
    11. No Esops .
    12. No Cafeteria .
    13. There is senior management for everything even for how to write emails and that too with different colour codes and styles .
    14. If you have relative in it field .Refer him/her . Have friendship with interviewer and perosn would be hired .
    15. Many Director level people have open their own personal company and are involved as partners in investment with many VP(exluding founder of snapdeal) level people in the company. This plays a huge part in deciding appraisal as you would have to satisfy personal investments.
    16 . Appraisal Mail would be shot even for changing variable in script and would be widely appreciated.

    Cons1. Tech HR is a one big joke in the company.
    2. When you ask Tech HR about the Appraisal process they would say bluntly that they don't know and even they have washed their hands off the matter.
    3. Overhyped founders of the company with fake numbers and data.
    4. Appraisal usually gets delayed by 2-3 months .
    5 .Attrition rate is very very very high . There are very few good senior people left.
    6. There is no tech work in the company left and 80 percent of people leaves because of quality of work.
    7. Everybody is leaving. My advice to people having call letter "Don;t join you would be making a very huge mistake."
    8. People at the top of tech management knows nothing and produce nothing .They are getting old and see this environment fit for their retirement plans .Hence not allowing anyone with slight of talent to grow .

    Advice to Senior ManagementYou wouldnt do nothing . if you could you would have . You havent uptill now, you never would so anything. Scums.

    Kindly give overhaul to techHR.

    HR doesn't maintain internal parity and appraisal cycles gets delayed by 2-3 months normally

    Not so many pros..

    ConsThey always do and this time too they have delayed the distribution of appraisal letters by couple of months. HR department here is too irresponsible to take care of the most important process of the year. Due to this, lot of good talented people have left and will be leaving. HR doesn’t even care about the attrition rate. I believe in the saying "Justice delayed is justice denied".
    Apart from the delay in appraisal process, they are unable to maintain the salary parity within a team. People with same or less workex/knowledge who joins later are getting more salaries than people already working in that team. This shows company doesn't pay to loyal employees. Staying here for longer period will make you lag behind from market standards in terms of compensation.
    There are no additional benefits/perks provided to the employees other than salary. Infrastructure is also less than the average. Don’t even have a decent cafeteria. People density on the floor is too much and it’s so noisy out here. You won’t get to work and concentrate in a peaceful environment.
    Over and above all things, all the above mentioned concerns had been brought into the concerns of HR as well as higher management for so many times. Still situation remains unchanged.

    Advice to Senior ManagementIf employees are working outstandingly hard to make every goal achieved, management also must take care of all kind of genuine needs of their employees. And I don't think any of the above mentioned needs is not genuine.

    Non employee friendly/ least bothered Higher Management / HR

    ProsYou'll have very fast learning as the organization's goals are over ambitious and founders & higher management will be after your life to get those done.

    ConsThe higher management in here is so inactive that they are least bothered of one most important annual activity i.e. Appraisal cycle.

    I am in this organization from last around one year and have been informed from old folks that this is an usual affair in the organization from at-least past two years and last year this was delayed by three long months. HR introduced a very slow software which is pain in each employee's head. However, the system is still not complete, but HR got appraised 2Q before.
    It seems that management / HR have their hidden vested interests for delaying the appraisal cycle.

    Would like to ask some questions:

    - Why HR is so helpless in such a so called India's fastest moving organization?
    - Why founder duo not so aggressive in achieving this easy goal, as they are for other over ambitious business goals and do everything to achieve those goals?
    - Why founders cannot raise a concern to the responsible for this delay and get this done on time as they chase other business goal? Or they are even helpless or this delay is their will?

    Is this is a least important goal for founders and higher management in the organization? Well yeah its true, there will be arrears given, but what about timeliness? Will that be agreeable to meet the sales target after a Q?
    The other false reason that not all have completed their review process should not be a reason for the delay for those who spent their time and completed the process on time respecting the given timeline.

    Now the question to the founders is if you cannot have this internally managed goal get done on time for your employees how you'll get the organization's goal completed with their help.

    Forget about other lacking employee benefits in so called over hyped India's leading mobile e-com organization, but at-least appraisal should be on time for which employees work hard for the whole year and as a collective efforts of all those, organization's growth reached to 500% from last year.

    You may want to hold your pace for a while and give a thought to this valid concern.

    Advice to Senior ManagementYou have to stop attrition currently happening organization wide. Hiring a world class talent is one thing and retaining is different. You should think about it unless you're about to merge with your so called competitor / investors.
