    Pros

I was working in HK office IT department as a trainee. It has flat structure, and easy-going colleagues.

    Cons

Most of the opportunities would be filled up by French people, not matter for junior or senior positions. It would be very hard to advance in the Socgen's career path.

Current Employee - Intern in Hong Kong (Hong Kong)

    Pros

good equity house, lots of talents on this specific area ( most of them are french). good to get exposure to a company culture that's different than BBs.

    Cons

underpaid for junoir/ interns. if you dont know french, you might also feel yourself beyond the main atmosphere. and tighter control after the kervil thing...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

try more aggressive in terms of risk management, think it's too conservative. get your intern/junoirs paid more in order to attract young talents.

    Pros

a good and inovative house. Always on the frontier of financial innovation. good culture, people are very nice here. can learn a lot as a young man.

    Cons

too many french guys, which led the office's culture one way against other ethnic groups. compensation are really below the line comparing to other houses. some of the senoir management are not very competent

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

hire more people other than french. give back more money to the employees when senoir management are making tons of money.
