Pros
Decent pay, good benefits and job growth opportunities
Cons
too many bosses, you have to please the client and your sodexo bosses
Advice to Senior Management
stop bowing down to the client all the time!
Pros
The people who work there are generally very fun to work with.. Many work hard for every dollar they make. People who work hard are great to have in the workplace.
Cons
The management can be very difficult at times. Employees who were not students could take any days off they wanted no questions asked. Even though I was considered one of the best employees at the company, it was VERY hard to EVER get a shift off, just because I was a student... I always felt that all the student workers were not considered important...
Advice to Senior Management
I believe that listening to the needs of the employees is very important. Sometimes, when we say something is wrong, or needs to be changed, it IS wrong. Please learn to listen to feedback from employees and the customers.
Pros
Great benefits, A lot of autonomy, good recources to work with and good training. There is a lot of career growth opportunities.
Cons
As the world of contract services goes there is a lot of proving your value to the client and those who you work with.
Advice to Senior Management
Overall good job. Try to lower the politics and focus on the results. Put some real heart into the "programs" instead of just get it done to show our value.
Pros
They are a large company with many opportunities for frontline employees and hourly workers to find employment with good benefits.
Cons
I did not find them particularly supportive of management teams unless you are in a major market. Small market, you are on your own.
Pros
good pay, nice boss, I could have just been lucky.
Cons
no leniency in working hours even if there is an emergency
Advice to Senior Management
decent company
Pros
It is a big company with many chances to move up the ranks if you are willing to be flexible on location and pay.
Cons
There are some very crooked account managers and corporate doesn't seem to do much in helping to straighten them out. This results in some questionable business ethics across the board.
Advice to Senior Management
Really take a look at what is going on at the account level (not just what the front line employees are up to).
Pros
Some of the coworkers were some of the best people you could work with. There was usually good teamwork among employees.
Cons
The management where I worked does not treat everyone equally. The raises were minimal. Management had an adversarial relationship with workers because of contratural requirement to have an always satisfied rating.
Advice to Senior Management
Regional managers should communicate with the average worker more instead of dealing stricktly with management in order to gain a true insight into how things are being run.
Pros
Easy job when working with compatent co-workers
Cons
They hired EVERYONE, especially when they're young. So co-workers can be immature and EXTREMELY lazy. You pay for other people stupidity so the rules change quite frequently. Its a dirty job.
Advice to Senior Management
Put a little more thought in your hiring credentuals. Its ok to hire young people but make sure theyre responsible and hard working. Also STOP CHANGING THE RULES
Pros
Able to express ideals to leader ship
Cons
Sometimes long hours .Need to get paid for longer hours
Advice to Senior Management
Ask on a matter you come across before asuming the worst
Pros
Because I need to work and they offered me a good job.
I like the work schedule flexibility
Cons
There are a lot of rude customers sometimes
Advice to Senior Management
They are awesome
