Former Employee – worked at Sojitz
Pros – - Easy walk from London Bridge street
- Nice view over the River Thames from the office
- Riverside walk available
Cons – - Sojitz is a combined company of Nissho and Nichimen, people hate each other in the office and it is very uncomfortable for the new comer...you'll be questioned, "Are you Nissho side, or Nichimen side?"
- Expats get together all the time and local staffs are isolated
- Very very Japanese company and British employee feels isolated
- One expat disappeared without notice as he had a bad homesick, strange....
Advice to Senior Management – Perhaps, you should involve the local staffs after work activities, too. Management should open their eyes and do something for this Nissho and Nichimen situation.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
