Former Employee – worked at Solyndra, Inc. full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Great company with a lot of innovative people and processes. Great compensation (at least for me). IT systems worked very well. Working at a very fast pace was very exciting.
Cons – A few jerks made the working environment tough... but then they left the company. Obviously the financing deal did not work out and the company closed there doors.
Advice to Senior Management – Make better decisions about equipment purchases and only scale to the cash available.

Current Employee – been working at Solyndra, Inc.
Pros – Renewable Energy company. 3/4 day work week. I have a great manager
Cons – As a technician I came in as a contractor with no benifites. It's been 1 year 4 months and I am still waiting to be converted to full time. I few marginal reasons for this. None-the-less I should already have been converted.
Advice to Senior Management – Lets get the VDL up and running so we can show the world our oustanding product.
