    Pros

Innovative product. Intelligent people, passionate about what they were creating. Strong focus on manufacturing equipment to produce the best product of its unique kind. Flexible, somewhat agile for a commodity producer.

    Cons

Costly product, but it had a niche market in light weight roofs in the commercial space. Taken on too much debt too fast before it established itself. Manufacturing in Bay Area - far too costly in construction, labor and being regulation heavy. Closed.

    Advice to Management

This was not a semi capital equipment company where burning cash automatically produces abundant revenue.

    Pros

Technology and idea was pretty good. Idea to advance alternative energy is inspiring. Was a job that paid the bills. Some good engineering talent.

    Cons

Incompetent management who were out of touch with the engineers. Often overworked with little reward. Unreasonable deadlines. Lot of politics involved that cut down on productivity.

    Advice to Management

Hold some accountability for you managers. Manage your finances better. Making employees happy is one way to increase productivity and speed up production. Overworking them does the opposite.

    Pros

Exciting technology and creative work environment

    Cons

No concern for individual contributors, at least in manufacturing/operations, by the management. Very male-centric culture that excluded women from advancement in the tech fields. Horrible, horrible management of the company and people.

Futuristic, innovative, fast pace, people friendly. A lot of work was done in the shotest possible time. Bright future was ahead of all of us.
