Pros
My fellow co-workers were great to work with. Sony has many different internal Network Groups.

Sony has been restructuring due to economy.

Let your workers know what;s going to happen and listen to there ideas.

Advice to Senior Management
Management needs to identify the core competencies and then invest in them to drive growth otherwise it will be hard to compete with the competitors

Very Exciting place to work, Every day is an Experience, Best leading electronic gadgets all under one roof and all for you to play with in front of you're customers, and its SONY.

Compensation is not competitive at all.
Advice to Senior Management
My only advice for Management, and Non Management is to remember that ALL Sony employees starting from Seasonal/Part-time/full-time/seniors/new-hires/etc are ALL working for the same person so HELP each other out. There is No "I" in Team.
Pros
Really fun working for a company that produces actual products that are usually targeted towards the premium end of the electronics market. It's also great getting a really good discount on said products.
Other benefits include a cool building to work in that has 'campus' style benefits like a good on site cafeteria, diner, cafe, great gym, etc.
In general the place has talented people working there who are passionate about the brand and building something cool.
Cons
Can be difficult at times when direction is coming from Japan without as much feedback from the US headquarters.
Advice to Senior Management
They could do a bit more to increase the visibility of product launches and make us aware of what's coming down the pipe in advance.
