Lots of cheap toys in the staff shop
Kind culture
Not demanding in results
If you stay long enough you get promotion
Lots of chance to discuss things
Willing to try things

Japanese get best jobs, but don't stay to see things through
Lack of vision
Still in denial about ipod
Dull offices
Little development, although improving for some people
Very poor at change

Suspicious of outsiders - not keen on partnering
Customers don't figure in our conversations except as 'things' to keep at a distance
Advice to Senior Management
Bring in outside talent
Get the Japanese to learn English properly
