    Prosvery friendly work environment, specially good for freshers, mid level there might be some stagnation and again there is growth

    Consless parking space at main building, sometimes not enough work is available to engage you, you feel bored.

    Good learning at Sopra

    Pros1. Decent salary hike
    2. Work life balance (Depends on project, if project demands you will have to stay late everyday.) For women, work life balance is there in every project.
    3. You can meet anyone (including COO) to raise your concerns.

    Cons1. Projects are managed by French team so they are the decision makers. Indian managers are dummy and they tend to justify their roles by making unnecessary changes. (Like introduce new processes)
    2. Being technically sound costs you for your work life balance. If you are technically sound most of the time you will do other people's job and in performance discussions managers will put it against you.
    3. Managers will listen you but actually they will not do anything to address your concerns.
    4. Too much politics everywhere.
    5. Software Testers are valued much more than Software Developers.

    Advice to Senior Management1. Understand Sopra values and try to inculcate them in you.
    2. Avoid politics and favoritism.
    3. Be transparent.
    4. Most important: Don't use awards/rewards/recognitions as a tool for preventive action. Honoring a wrong candidate may motivate him/her but demotivates whole team.

    Pros- Managers are polite atleast while speaking .
    - Good Work/Life balance
    -Average salary hike

    Cons-Lack of technical growth , you will rut doing same kind of work till you leave .
    -Most of the project management is done by France , in India you will only find insecure manager who have no idea what there role is and justify there presence by unnecessary interference .
    -Technical brilliance is not valued.

    Advice to Senior Management- Hire technically sound people in India if you want to innovation and quality work.
    - Be prepared to pay people the salary the deserve , average salary hike for all will leave little incentive for the top performers to stay .
