I worked at Source, Inc. full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Small company with 100+ so fairly close knit with many with long tenures (15+ years)
    Work life balance is great.

    Cons

Old systems burden people and processes.
    Drastic cuts in recent years.
Owner is old and showing poor health.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve systems and new owner needed.

    Pros

There are a lot of good people doing the right things. One of the perks is that the company is small enough that you feel like your contributions are recognized.

    Cons

Very simple - poor leadership in all categories. The benefits are middle of the road. Promotions are hard to come by because it is a small company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to run the company as a business and not to suit your personal needs. Too many people have been allowed to remain in place who aren't doing the right thing for the business.

    I worked at Source, Inc.

    Pros

It lasted 45 years and was a family

    Cons

It is a very unprofessional place. People are not treated equal and there are no true leaders. Way too many Directors and way to many people there that shouldn't be but Management doesn't listen and obviously not interested in what is best for the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look hard who is under you and does it really make sense to keep someone who doesn't work and makes everyone else do their job. The good people don't get noticed but the ones that aren't really doing their job always get recognized. They don't get it and the people that are in Management shouldn't be. Set up to fail fast.

I worked at Source, Inc. full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

There are a lot of long-tenured employees that do well.

    Cons

This is a depressing office in an old building. The company and office feels like it's stuck in the 80s even though they sell technology. When I was last there things were not going well at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire yourselves and clean house if you haven't already.
