    Pros

    Great work/life balance.
    Upper management open and forthcoming with issues.

    Cons

    Boring clients.
    Top heavy with upper management and getting worse.
    3 rounds of layoffs in last 15 months.
    Inability to land any significant new business.

    Land one significant piece of new business.

    I have been working at Source Marketing full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Great work-life balance, decent compensation
    The new President seems like a great hire so far

    Cons

    3 rounds of layoffs in the last year and a half
    Top heavy with senior management and unwilling to purge dead weight at the top of the food chain
    The agency is struggling to define what it is or wants to be, total lack of focus from senior management
    Can't seem to maintain or land any significant business
    CEO is a narcissist who has to be "right" at all costs

    It's time for a major reorganization at the top.

    I have been working at Source Marketing as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

    Supervisor was great. Allowed me to get involved with many aspect of agency life: attended photo shoots in nyc, brainstorming sessions. Good culture as well, free bagels fridays and was a member of the softball team. Company summer party was paid time too. Very flexible and nice people.

    Cons

    Projects was ok to work on, not very culturally diverse. If youre interested in cpg this is a place for you, but if you are a person who want more challenging and rewarding work, maybe you should look elsewhere.

    Decent pay, benefits and work life balance in terms of agency life.

    Cons

    Organization is top heavy. No development process or growth opportunities. Senior management lacks talent, vision and people skills.

    Leverage the talent and creativity of your employees. Value them as your best resource not as a commodity.

    Good, smart employees. Environmentally focused. Good clients.

    Cons

    Silence. Non-collaborative environment. Very controlling environment. Focused on time management, rather than productivity, contribution. Very political.

    Communication to staff is important. Be more flexible. Create more collaborative environment.
