    Pros

Company is very flexible, great group of people to work with, understanding with your time and good vacation benefits.

    Cons

Having worked for this company for many years, I have seen employees come and go because of uncertainty and the slow progression of the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Suggest quarterly meetings with employees on the progression of company.

    Pros

Diversity of clients and additional career skills helped build my knowledge base. Training was okay, but time-off policy was very strict.

    Cons

Undue red tape in working with management; some of whom did not know business model very well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to employees to better master the business model and standard workflow.

    Pros

Some nice employees, decent vacation policy.

    Cons

Very outdated products and management. The culture is one of fear and jealousy where petty fights are encouraged.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's 2014 and you run a software company. Reward innovation and resourcefullness, discourage petty behaviors and management practices, give employees as much control over their work environment as possible. There is no other way to create a modern technical culture that will attract engineers.

I have been working at Source Medical

    Pros

    -Casual Work Environment
    -Management Open Door Policy
-Reasonable work load and healthy Work/Life Balance
    -Flexible in allowing remote employees.
-Management willing to listen to employee concerns.
-Expenses are paid back in a timely manner.
-Freedom to pick and choose travel arrangements.
-Coworkers are great to work with.

    Cons

-Pay is disappointingly below national average.
-Management is willing to listen, but rarely implements changes to resolve concerns.
-Company is reactive instead of proactive, often leading to frustrations.
-Often times, suggestions are taken by management and presented as their own.
-A lack of accountability for job requirements. This allows the ball to be dropped and everyone just points fingers at others.
    -Lack of communication between departments.
-Not a lot of room for growth from within.
-No bonus structure or rewards for going above and beyond.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

-Think with a more proactive approach instead of waiting until something goes wrong, then fixing it.
-Reward the employees who make the extra effort, so that going the extra mile pays off.
-Focus on communication between deparments. There is a lot of knowledge that is lost because the people who need it, don't have any way to access it.
