    Pros

Easy, low stress work environment. Get to work in a department which benefits student's lives.

    Cons

Can be boring at times. There never seems to be enough work to go around. You have to be a self-starter in order to stay busy.

    Pros

Alot of resources are provided to students and the staff put forth great effort in ensuring that student at SEMO receive the maximum amount of assistance that they can provide. They also are good at keeping their own.

    Cons

The University tends to be very political.

I worked at Southeast Missouri State University full-time

    Pros

Wonderful people in a wonderful town, great campus. The weather can be hit or miss, but overall a wonderful experience.

    Cons

Like I said earlier, the weather can be either really hot or really cold. My only other complaint would be lack of department funding.

    Advice to Management

My only real advice would be more department funding. There were several times where more funding would benefit all that are involved.

    Pros

    - The schedule was made around my class schedule
    - Co-workers were very willing to cover morning and afternoon shifts
    - Friendly atmosphere, everyone got along

    Cons

    - Co-workers were not as willing to cover evening shifts (understandable)
    - Having to manage people that came in on guest passes that weren't always friendly

    Advice to Management

Make sure to weed out the employees that you know don't pull their part. It can be easy to just keep them there but they can bring the whole team down.
