    Pros

Stable and reputable parent company, excellent benefits package, professional work environment.

    Cons

Good ole Boy work philosophy. Merit is based mainly on who one knows and how one fits in with a particular group rather than what one knows. Struggle to transfer to affiliate companies. Low morale.

    Advice to Management

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at SouthernLINC Wireless full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits, pension plan, public utilities, stock options, established parent company (Southern Company). Financial strength and backing. Nice and accessible office location.

    Cons

Highly political, oppressive culture, mistrust of leadership. Stagnant growth opportunity. Ultra conservative. Dwindling regional subscription. Obsolete product and technology. Uncertain future.

    Advice to Management

Move toward a more millennial style of management. Discourage political favoritism. Retain/reward productive employees. Develop a succession plan for everyone, not just the chosen few.

I worked at SouthernLINC Wireless full-time

    Pros

It was good. Nothing spectacular. There are some positions to work from home. Good pay only after so many years of service

    Cons

There is no way to get promoted. Its pretty much of who you know. It seems that management make up positions for best friends. In order to grow you will need to apply to outside subsidary company such as Southern Company. The employees base decrease every year due to layoffs.
