Advice to Senior Management
Less pressure..
Pros

unrealistic goals for a Bank with no technology
99% Chiefs 1% Indians
Feel like your a slave every day
Advice to Senior Management
Stop trying to be like Chase or a real global commercial Bank because you dont have the tools to do it (MS DOS based systems), people hate where they work and cry at time. Stay Away does not matter if they pay you six figures!
Pros
Paid time off And holidays
Cons
There is no room for advancement and no raise. They have unrealistic goals for all employees but find ways to not pay out your incentives.
Advice to Senior Management
Need to reevaluate approach towards employees. Whatever they are doing now is not working. Learn from your mistakes and try a different approach. We are employees not your children.
Pros
Good co-workers, flexible schedule, choice of locations
Cons
A lot of pressure on the bankers
Advice to Senior Management
Be aware of employee moral in the branches.
Pros
Hardworking employees
Average benefits
Better than not having a job at all.
Cons
Work hard and you will be asked to move to Boston before they lay you off.
No raise for 3 years.
Will find a reason not to give a bonus.
Do as I say attitude.
Advice to Senior Management
Time to pack up and go home! Remember this is America!
Very sad what you have done to Sovereign Bank.
Pros
Jump-start you career in retail banking
Cons
Outdated software, low-end in the salary scale compared to competition
Pros
PAid time off is a nice amount.
Cons
Whatever your current position is, expect that to be your job for the remainder of your career.. Promotions are non-existing. They would rather hire an outsider that knows nothing, than give you the monetary/title push you deserve.... ,
Advice to Senior Management
There is so much room for improvement and it just feels like working in the movie groundhogs day.
Nothing new. If everyone could stop having meetings about yesterday's meeting preparing for tomorrows meeting, more things could be accomplished. Stop micro managing allow managers to make real decisions, not message relayers till the next meeting.
