A great Commercial Real Estate focused company.

Senior Advisor (Former Employee) Orlando, FL

ProsTheir nationwide network allows you to assist your customers no matter where their properties are located; then you do a search for SVN brokers in that state and you know somebody you can trust to assist you and your client.

ConsCould not belong to the NAR or FAR, since the Managing Broker was not member.

    Poor foresight.

Broker Coordinator (Former Employee) Irvine, CA

ProsIn a good market, SVN was an exciting place to work.
    Appreciative brokers, fair compensation.
SVN had a good marketing model and great internal software and tools for brokers.

ConsWhen the economy dropped, upper management panicked.
They got rid of all the wrong people and sunk their ship earlier than necessary.

Advice to Senior ManagementIt seems like what's done is done. I was sad to hear that everyone was gone and the structure of the corporate office had changed so much.

    Fun place to work

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Irvine, CA

ProsVery fun collaborative culture. Enthusiastic coworkers and management. Opportunities for growth really depend on you and your willingness to work hard.

ConsSometimes management could do a better job of showing an understanding of employee difficulties. Meetings can be less than productive.

Advice to Senior ManagementGood luck with the current real estate market. It is a hard time to be in the business and hopefully you can weather the storm.

    This company is a joke

Broker (Current Employee) Los Angeles, CA

ProsThere is nothing good to say about these guys except that they act like they are easygoing and fun.

ConsCompared to other brokerages this place offers no training and no compensation. You find your own phone numbers, that's it.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry telling the truth. Don't make believe that each guy has his own territory. Cold calling is old fashioned.
