    Pros

Great employee discount and fun people to work with. It is fun to talk about sporting equipment

    Cons

Hours are very inconsistent and they care about protection plans and loyalty sign ups too much

    Advice to Management

Make it worth it to be a cashier because they can't benefit as much as those working the floor where protection plan sales happen.

    Pros

Good discount as long as you like second hand products

    Cons

No place for any advancement, no room to grow, company is closing stores all over the country. Technology wise they are about 15 years behind current retailers. Upper management is not familiar with current business trends, fashions, customer wants. You'll get hours cut because they cut payroll on a weekly basis.

    Advice to Management

You're $1 billion in debt. Try something else.

    Pros

Primarily was the fact that I got to work around what I love, sports. The people are great to work with and the management is hit or miss, but the sports atmosphere is nice and they only hire sports minded people.

    Cons

The work schedule can switch up and it is very hard to find someone to work a shift for you if you forgot to request off for a given day.

    Advice to Management

Most managers in the company are genuinely good people who won't act like you are scum if you missed your sales numbers one week. Watch for those who do act like that and get rid of them. They are terrible for fellow employees.

    Pros

Schedule flexibility, they work around school or family obligations Job satisfaction Coworkers Discounts, 10% above cost

    Cons

Have to work weekends Management from store level up to corp are clueless No direction, TSA was a industry leader, now they barely keep up No say in how things can be improved Not in business to make money, managers are afraid of customers complaining, give away the store One word, Simplr, this is what management focuses totally on. Company has drank the coolaid and believes that selling extended warranties will save the company because it's 100% profit. Not focusing on what customers want.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to run a business, not give your business away. Listen to veterans within the company, if you can still find one that hasn't bee chased out of the company.

    Pros

The company claims customer service is priority. The pay is competitive.

    Cons

Closed minded direction, be ready to work all weekends/holidays/evenings, even on thanksgiving and Christmas eve. Future of company is questionable.

    Advice to Management

Open your minds to new ideas about how to run the business while we still have a business to run.
