Good place to work, upward mobility attainable

    Project Manager (Former Employee)
    Miami, FL

ProsGreat work environment, very entrepreneurial management. SPRIM is a large global company but still feels small--approachable senior management, quick decision making, ideas from the bottom of the organization can still be accepted and adapted. Upward mobility for hard workers with international placement possible.

ConsWork/life balance--very demanding firm, focus on getting things done in time for clients/deliverable timing. Sometimes a 24/7 job.

Advice to Senior ManagementContinue expanding in the US, create more international collaboration opportunities

The most disappointing, stressful, and frustrating position of my life.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    San Francisco, CA

ProsMany team members outside of management were a delight, professional, and fun to work with. Ability to be based remotely was a plus. Frequent ability to travel was positive.

ConsIncredible lack of respect and support to the team. Resources necessary to run the department, even after pleas to add new members, were ignored. Management does not possess a basic understanding of the research field, regulations, or best practices. Turn-around time for projects was incredibly unreasonable for the most advanced person. Standard policies in most companies are ignored leading to little to no time off and an extreme absence of moral. Payroll and expense reimbursement was often late. Senior management possess and incredible lack of knowledge and best practice business sense.

Advice to Senior ManagementSenior Management (country managers & managing partners) need to listen and learn to the experts which they hired. There is a high degree of mismanagement and inappropriate interactions (verbal, email, etc.) with internal and external customers.
