    Pros

With great Benefits and a fun competitive work environment Sprint is a good place to work if you are ok with grinding out sales every day

    Cons

As a store manager the work life balance does not exist. you are on call always, day and night, and are expected to answer your phone at all times

    Advice to Management

    Senior Management is horrible

    Pros

Overall benefits are good including discounted service and products for purchase. PTO and vacation allowance is generous and usually not restricted. Most of the tenured personnel (5+ years) are very friendly, helpful and share core values leading with ethical moral practices.

    Cons

Were do I begin.. far to much to list but If I could sum it up, I would say RUN BEFORE YOU MAKE A COMMITMENT TO THIS COMPANY. Kiss you work/life balance good bye as you are expected to work a 9:30 to 7:30 3 days and 2 days 11:00 to 9:00. Expect to work Sat and Sun. The ARD shields unethical practices as long as numbers are being produced yet when exposed, he will terminate you in a heartbeat. Sprint customers are tough. They are tired of being jerked around by Sprints network and the shady practices these sales reps in stores do just to meet quota. Quota is king in this industry and if you fall short, you best start looking for a new job. The company's retail department lost its morals, ethics and values.

    Advice to Management

My advice to the Sprint CEO is for him to sign up for the show Undercover Boss so he can see for himself how tough the retail department has it This would allow him to see how corrupt employees can be just to meet a quota that hardly brings any commission at the end of the month. I would also advice him build start a completely new senior management team (VP down to Area managers) to bring some positive culture to the Sprint family.

    Pros

Good pay .good benefits. You feel taken care of

    Cons

Can be a lot of politics and management encourages being unethical to customers to suceed goals. Retail scheduling.

    Advice to Management

Be more ethical. Promote people that are deserving. Not just people that work the system.

    Pros

Decent pay, good experience, a lot of room for advancement, good coworkers

    Cons

Can be very demanding, and hectic at times. Experience is very depending upon your management. One of my managers made it a very unpleasant experience, and ultimately led to me leaving the company

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the staff that you have, and treat them well. If you treat them like crap, don't expect them to fight for you.

    Pros

All of my coworkers were wonderful, and the pay wasn't terrible for an entry level position.

    Cons

impossible sales goals for a store with very little traffic, upper management would transfer employees to different locations up to 50 miles away at a moments notice. You could go from having a 10 minute commute to an hour and a half commute the next day.

    Advice to Management

Stop setting unrealistic sales goals for small stores, respect your employees at all levels and stop transferring people for no reason

    Pros

I loved working for sprint. the company culture was great and the benefits were awesome.

    Cons

No diversity. My Co-workers were mainly hispanics. As an African American, I found it intimidating. Managers had their favorites, Manager/ASM were mostly hispanics. So you can imagine that picture.

    Advice to Management

Hire different people. just not hispanics.
