Pros
Work Life Balance - Depending on position. Advantage Plans. Lots of employee events to attend to break up your workday.
Cons
Advancement is hard to do when you have been found to be qualified for a position and the manager wants to hire you for the position yet HR decides you need to start at a (I) instead of the original position you were hired for being a (II). Unfair!
Advice to Senior Management
Allow Bill to account for employee accounts (you know where we are to collect your money) and not allow the few employees that you have issues with ruin this option for the employees that pay thier bills.
Pros
The pay and benefits are good. Leading edge technology with good training.
Cons
micro-managed; very little customer service support
Advice to Senior Management
Provide local support so that account executives can do their job.
Pros
Good money great benefits free phone service.
Cons
.Favoritism is huge at sprint. Management talks to reps like if they are their friends. No room for advan, ces only if your part of the "circle". They hire anyone
Advice to Senior Management
Grow up actually take some time to show the customer you care
Pros
If you can work well with people and have good communication sells, there is no reason why you cannot succeed with the company. It has a good training program and has a nice selection of phones. Management is flexible with the schedule making.
Cons
Compared to other cell major phone providers, Sprint pays its employees less hourly and its commission structure is always changing. If you hit your goals, which are attainable, then you'll make decent money, but a friend I worked with went to a competitor and sold similar numbers as me and made considerably more money. The nature of the business.
Pros
Benefits
Discounts

Cons
Hours and Potential of Growth varies from store to store
Advice to Senior Management
Stop placing burden on others to work hard.
Pros

Cons
many managers promoted beyond their competency levels
Advice to Senior Management
fire Hesse
Pros
It's generally a friendly, collaborative work environment with a decent opportunity for people to move laterally to broaden their work skills. People and their work/life balance is respected.
Cons
Although management quality has improved in the last 3 years, Sprint still suffers from something of a utility mindset in which the people aren't thinking day to day about how to differentiate the company from and to beat larger competitors. There's also a focus on hiring and promoting just within the Kansas City market, despite the fact it has a shallow labor pool without a lot of top notch universities or other tech/telecom companies from which to draw a strong and diverse employee base.
Advice to Senior Management
Something dramatic needs to happen to find a path to growth against much larger competitors, so you might need to get more aggressive about how it handles operations and market positioning.
Pros
Large Company. Much room for mobility
Cons
Near constant Hiring Freeze in effect
Advice to Senior Management
Training budgets need to be increased
Pros

Advice to Senior Management
