Pros
descent compensation, hours aren't the best but not terrible
Cons
quotas can be difficult to attain
Advice to Senior Management
nothing
Pros
Pay was good and benefits.
Cons
Always changing. Closing stores, moving stores not really planning ahead.
Advice to Senior Management
Get it together and stay consistent.
Pros
Work from home opportunities, Pay is good, Co-workers and management are great. We have offsite team builders during working hours where our team could go out to eat or even to the movies together DURING WORKING HOURS...nice! I really enjoyed working here.
Cons
Layoffs. Lots of changes, not a lot of room to move up right now. I received one raise within 5 years despite exceeding expectations and taking on new job responsibilities. However, it was mainly because the industry was struggling a bit, unlike the wireless/cellphone side of it which was doing fine. This is an office job, not a sprint store job.
Advice to Senior Management
Just continue to find more work opportunities for the department.
Pros
Good Benefits, Pay is ok
Cons
Always dealing with angry customers, wanting more of a customer service role but still expecting to hit sales numbers
Advice to Senior Management
Make a better commission structure
Pros
The people are fun
Mgmt is always there to train you
Very great place to advance in if you are looking to enter Mgmt
Good when it comes to work/personal life
Cons
Retail hours
Sometimes the goals can be pretty unreachable so you stress to make sure you reach them by the end of the month
Advice to Senior Management
Keep doing what you're doing
Pros
Culture of innovation on the wireless side.
The benefit packages were exceptional for the area
Very good work / life balance
Cons
Had an extended period where product came before the customer but that has improved
As with most large organizations, can be bureaucratic
Advice to Senior Management
Continue with the renewed focus on the customer and you will continue to see improvements
Customers recognize Sprint can be easier to do business with than other carriers
Pros
I have a great boss. I get to work on a wide range of issues. Lots of flexibility to balance life.
Cons
Compensation has declined significantly over the last 5 years. Sprint always seems to be struggling.
Pros
Good opportunity for growth in advancement you can make pretty good money doing this.selling the latest in cellphone technology is always a plus.
Cons
Standing on your feet all day waiting on customers looking down at a computer. constantly changing sales goals can sometimes make equal a little tricky.
Advice to Senior Management
Just keep doing what your doing help employees when needed .let them know them know they can come and talk to you when needed.
Pros
Opportunities to grow, good work benefits and working environment.
Cons
Every year had layoffs in the company.
Pros
Very rewarding if you work on a small team supporting cross functional groups.
You can get the big picture when working with many different teams on both business and IT sides
Cons
It's a tough economy and as with all companies there is a push for cost cutting that can range from supplies to salaries and benefits
Advice to Senior Management
Steady the course as in roads are being made to getting Sprint on the right track
