I have been working at Sprint full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits are very good been with Sprint many years. Winning in the industry with current promotional offers to customers being very attractive.

    Cons

Not really a con but employees must be adaptable to frequent changes in promotional offers as Sprint reacts to the ever changing market.

    I worked at Sprint

    Pros

Great co-workers! They were like family. Good work life balance. Although, like any business there were times when you needed to work 60+ hours/week. Through, the years I had some good managers and bad managers, but the last 6 years I had one of the best.

    Cons

    Benefits are being reduced
    Continual layoffs
Struggling business (to keep and retain customers)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Nothing new here: With a subpar network, it's going to be hard to get new customers and keep the ones you have.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Sprint full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Many of the people who work there have been employees for 10+ years and are very dedicated to the company. The ability to telecommute is great if you can manage to do it. The vacation time is great if you have been there for more than 5 years.

    Cons

There are layoffs at least twice a year that keep people on edge. Even those with glowing reviews and years in seem not to be immune from the big ax. It's hard to take your vacation that you have earned because of the amount of work and the expectation for you to be available by email, IM and phone at all times. Not a lot of room for career advancement unless you reside and work in Overland Park, KS.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take more value in your hard working employees and the hours, weeks and years that they put in. Stop expecting employees to be loyal to the company but then offer no raises for years and layoff those who have shown true dedication.

I have been working at Sprint

    Pros

Great atmosphere to work in. Schedule is pretty flexible and there are plenty of sales incentives to drive achieving quota

    Cons

With a changing atmosphere within the company as a whole tension is high on all levels making what usually is a fun workplace very stressful

    Cons
