    Pros

Hourly pay is very nice with this company, commission is also very good.

    Cons

Time off is an issue in a busier volume store, too many requests from upper management , too many program and organizational changes.

    Advice to Management

    HIRE FROM WITHIN!

    Pros

Flexible hours, flexible work location, allows working remote, uses current technologies, friendly people, great benefits that includes tuition reimbursement, discounts with home, car and pet insurances; free mobile phone service for employee, discounted mobile phone service for friends and family, 401k matching, LTD, can use corporate discount for personal travel; assistant with career enhancement

    Cons

Remote corporate employees do not have any career path with the company. Promotions are only for employees at the Overland Park Headquarters. This excludes sales and retail positions. Career development is available but it is very hard to apply them within the company. Currently the company is going through a lot of restructuring from executive level down to individual contributors. Employment is very unstable. Cost of living in Kansas is very low when compared to big cities likes Silicon Valley, San Francisco, LA, and NYC so salary is not competitive if you live in the big cities.

    Advice to Management

Be more hands on in helping develop your employee's career. Challenge employees to improve themselves.

    Pros

Stable Organization Recognized As Top 5 Brand Of Telecommunications Companies In A Very Competitive Landscape. Normal Industry Practice With Respect To Pay, 401K, PTO, Vacation and similar.

    Cons

I'll Never Forget Trying To Convince Corporate "Leaders" That The NASCAR company mandated national marketing strategy was not the BEST option. A few YEARS and MILLIONS later spent in failed marketing/advertising. Im glad they settled on my suggested choice of the NBA partnership.

    Pros

Salary, STI, benefits, growth opportunities. The ability to promote within is great and if you work hard you will get recognized.

    Cons

Sometimes, the work attire is TOO relaxed. Business casual is not enforced.

    Advice to Management

Recruiting needs to improve, stop hiring interns, enforce the dress code (flip flops, crocs, torn jeans, etc.). The idea of looking professional has been lost these days. IMO.

    Pros

One of the positive aspects of working for Sprint is the ability to gain experience in various areas of the company and in diverse functions.

    Cons

Over the past 10 years there have been regular layoffs. This causes a great deal of uneasiness for the employees as well as those managers required to identify and notify impacted employees.
