    Sucks to be a manager...

I worked at Sprouts Farmers Market

    Pros

Good Concept. Great products. Very active in Autistic cause.

    Cons

Unrealistic expectation. Ordering system outdated for volume. Promo order is laughable as they allocate depending on what they and not your volume or sales history, causing backroom issues.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ditch the ordering system and completely revamp the way they order promo.

I worked at Sprouts Farmers Market (more than a year)

    Pros

Co workers, met the love of my life, decent food.

    Cons

A coworker of mine wasn't satisfied with our store manager R G. He reported him to HR but was, unwittingly, speaking to a friend of R's. Eventually 'R' found out and confronted the employee for reporting. Considering the illegaldoings of HR as well as well as throwing temper tantrums and treating a 30 year manager like a child, I think he should be fired. It's not the employee's fault that you order huge trucks but refuse to give people more hours or hire new people. I busted buns in the bakery coming in at 5 am and not leaving till super late. They promote the wrong people and completely undercut the good ones. Overall, I felt like the company doesn't care about employees. Loved getting just under forty hours a week so you wouldn't have to give me benefits.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't micromanage; keep a better eye on your hard workers and give some incentive. Not that hard.

I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I truly enjoy the work environment and our customers. The company is also very flexible with your personal availability. They have employee discounts and employee appreciation days.

    Cons

It seems that as the company continues to grow, it is becoming more selfish. With many new stores opening, they have continuously changed policies that affect employees negatively. They also try to cut labor costs to the point where their employees are losing hours, holiday pay, and creating a more demanding work environment due to not having enough employees per shift.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Staff departments accordingly so as to reduce work load stress, boost morale, and increase efficient customer service.

I worked at Sprouts Farmers Market

    Pros

The brand, growing company presents opportunities to gain experience

    Cons

Senior leadership is loosing sight and alignment with their people. If you are early in your career and want to gain experience, it's great place to be. If you are experienced and want to make a difference, stay far away. If you are pursuing a job at the corporate office make sure to do your due-diligence during the recruiting process.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Address the disrespectful and unethical behavior at the executive and senior management levels. There is a reason people are leaving and//or being laid off... BTW 73% of Whole Foods employees would recommend their employer while only 37% would recommend Sprouts. See an opportunity there???
