Very Positive Tutoring Experience as a Student

Economics Tutor (Former Employee)
Rochester, NY

I worked at St. John Fisher part-time for more than a year

ProsFlexible hours, enjoyable work, good students to work for. As a student doing tutoring this worked out very well. That being said I only worked a few hours a week.

ConsWage was very low but I was an undergraduate doing tutoring so it is understandable. Other than that I really had no complaints.

Advice to Senior ManagementA higher wage rate would probably increase the supply of people willing to sell their labor to the school.

Loved the classroom part but was promised a lot of things that never came to pass

Adjunct Professor (Former Employee)

I worked at St. John Fisher

ProsI had complete autonomy in developing and implementing my courses

ConsThe main issue was the promises -- which were significant and affected not only me but my entire family -- that never came to pass
