    Pros

Great people, good retail hours and fair pay. Love the clothes . Lots of training and tools to grow your client list

    Cons

The time day can be slow and need to use your own skills to make a way for your own client base.

    Advice to Management

Keep positive and listen to what will work for individual stores. Take time to know your employees and they will respect the company more.

    Pros

Beautiful product and great quality. Amazing customers! Ability to create business opportunities for yourself. Store employees become like family.

    Cons

Company culture has changed over the years to become more rigid and non personal. Used to be an attractive place to work because of culture.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees, they are on the front lines and make things happen. Stop micromanaging and trust your people.

    Pros

As a Store Leader, I get to do my own schedule. The bonus (if you get it) is great. Also you get to wear beautiful clothes.

    Cons

Accountability is definitely a challenge when you have to submit a write up to corporate and do not get it back for more than 7 days. People who do not belong here stay stagnant because of the "Team Building" values of the company.

    Advice to Management

Make taxes on Allotment cheaper...$600 in one check is not feasible to a Wardrobe specialist. Make the accountability at store level, training your Store Managers to do a write up during training.

    Pros

I loved the lasting relationships I built with my clients, all of which I still keep in contact with. In my situation, I really appreciated the fact that my boss did not Micro-Manage, and gave us the creative freedom to sell through several different channels... ie.. creating online emails with sale items, taking pictures of the merchandise with our cell phones and sending them out to clients, emailing personalized style pages, cold-calling, and styling customers in the store. Another great perk is obviously the $3,500 wardrobe allotment.

    Cons

Corporate Management does not listen to employees when there is a problem or suggested solution. In my particular situation, my boss did not schedule us equally or think about how to equally weigh our shifts - so we would all get burnt out very easily... working back to back opening/closing shifts or working 9 days in a row..etc.

    Advice to Management

Take your employees seriously, they are the face of the brand and it is critical that they feel valued and empowered.

Shameful that a company with such great quality merchandise has no concern or respect for employees. Unappreciated!!!

    Pros

Great clothes, absolutely beautiful clothes and accessories, top quality merchandise that clearly sells itself.

    Cons

Commission is ridiculously low for the luxury industry. Hours are ridiculous and no concern or regard to overworking sales associates, Many people leave due to health issues from knees to back injuries. Won't even install pad under carpeted concrete floor. Also a lot of rigged sales contests, Ridiculous cost to employee for taxes on allotment items that are required attire.

    Advice to Management

Better communication and honesty. If you have to always have employees leave on a bad note then it is time to reexamine your management at the retail level.
