Be The First To
100% of the CEO
I worked at St. Joseph's Healthcare System full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – The mission and value based standards set forth. The appreciation received based on their program and services they provide to their patients within the community.
Cons – When you observe a lose of a patient on a unit, however being able to assist the family during this time by collaborating with other peers makes a big difference to your patient.
Employees to work together as a team as outlined in the Mission set forth.
Advice to Senior Management – To be a great leader (Director, Manager or Supervisor) is to lead by example and empower your employees to do the same.
– I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at St. Joseph's Healthcare System
Pros – When the system has done well financially, they definitely will surprise their staff with generous raises. Employee input is encouraged. Certification is also encouraged as well as continuing education. Their is also the option of clinical laddering.
Cons – Alot of gossip. Be advised to stay clear of people who are negative or talk poorly of the system. Become a proud team member as this is greatly to your advantage.
Advice to Senior Management – Be aware that some lower level management could use some training in how to professionally communication with theiir staff. Some of lower level management include such tactics as intimidation and providing information that is not true just to not have to deal with certain situations or just maybe trying to cover up their inability to properly manage staff or their units.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
