    Pros

I am a nurse here. Some people who wants to be a nurse thinks that it's easy money! Especially our newbies everywhere wants to be on the top already. Y'all need to earn it, you need sacrifice and passion and mostly you need to love what you are doing.

    Cons

Not really understaffed but people keep calling out because they have no love for their work.

    Advice to Management

    Gratification on everyone.

    Pros

Great benefits, nice Property bank....but that's all

    Cons

Pay is low in comparison to other hospitals, there's a lot of red tape, no consistency in their practices, lot of favoritism. It's not what you know but who you know....and this applies for everything. ..promotions, salary increases and covering up for people. They always say working here is like being with family but it's not true at all!

    Advice to Management

Work on communication, changes need to come from the top

    Pros

    Great salary.That is about it.

    Cons

All depends where you work. If you are in the apartment program, you will be surrounded by awesome people. It's like a family. If you are in residential, it all depends what house you work. You can end up with sour and bitter people that should have left the field years ago.

    Advice to Management

Be nice and supportive to the worker bees. They are in the trenches and have to handle enough.

    Pros

It prepares you for a career in law enforcement because you are constantly dealing with many different types of people. You see much more in security here on 2nd and 3rd shift.

    Cons

Supervisors and management don't support the employee. You can do everything right and still you get stabbed in the back.

    Advice to Management

Learn to work with your employees, Not against them.

    Pros

The mission and value based standards set forth. The appreciation received based on their program and services they provide to their patients within the community.

    Cons

When you observe a lose of a patient on a unit, however being able to assist the family during this time by collaborating with other peers makes a big difference to your patient.

Employees to work together as a team as outlined in the Mission set forth.

    Advice to Management

To be a great leader (Director, Manager or Supervisor) is to lead by example and empower your employees to do the same.
