I have been working at St. Joseph's HospitalNo opinion of CEONo opinion of CEO
This hospital is a small town hospital so you know your patients and physicians well. You really feel like you make a difference in the patients health as compared to a bigger hospital. Because it is a small town also you know all the physicians and they get to know you so they look to you to help them care for the patients. You get to do more in a small hospital as compared to a large hospital.
It tends to still be a good ol boy network and it is hard to move up into management.
