I have been working at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great environment and fantastic core facilities with cutting edge technologies; unique place to improve both personal skills and team work abilities. Salaries are in the average or higher than national average.

    Cons

Not major concerns. Excellent place where it is easy to go a step ahead with their own career. Friendly and professional environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

High competitive environment, specifically for the research. In this contest, mentorship is fundamental and the Principal Investigator should take this aspect in great consideration.

I worked at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital full-time for less than a year

    Pros

None - There are no "Pros" for working at St. Jude. it is a company full of liars, backstabbers, hypocrites, and far worse.

    Cons

Watch your back and trust absolutely no one there! Do not consider anybody to be your friend. Go to work, work, go home and don't give the place a second thought, because they WILL throw you under the bus the first chance they get.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit masquerading as a Christian organization while fleecing money from donors that think they are donating it for the cure of cancer. St. Jude is nothing but a scam where the money goes to pad the pockets of the managers.

I worked at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Claims as to be a best world renowned Children's cancer research hospital??

    Cons

Industrial age management tactics are in place by a big buddy system to promote employee abuse and misuse of power and authority by senior management staff at the hospital.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Accountability must accounted for - it's a public institution supposed to be run by good public citizens only, for public, by public funding. Employee abuse by management from HR to Senior level management are very common practice and needs to be addressed by interviewing former employees' feed back for better quality.
