    Pros

great area in cornwall, many good people to work with, mostly good management, always an opportunity to learn something new, great benefits, good education plans available

    Cons

low salary, low increases even when you hit the top mark, newburgh location in a bad area, many responsibilities as your job changed and you received new responsibilities the old responsibilities remained. management didn't always listen

    Advice to Management

the need to listen to everyone before making a decision, favoritism needs to stop, give promotions based on works, give pay increases based on worthiness,

I worked at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital as an intern

    Pros

Staff was all very nice and friendly, even doctors, acted like they cared about you, most were willing to collaborate.

    Cons

Typical stuff - admin red tape, etc
Small hospital - experience is limited, although location in Newburgh did make for a few interesting patients (gun shot victims).

    Advice to Management

Better staffing! More community building activities.

    Pros

Friendly employees, most management is decent, small community hospital, thanks for doing a good job, very little micro management, good pay.

    Cons

Little room to move around for certain fields, outdated technology, departments can be clinquey, union is terrible, some employees have been there way too long and are too comfortable.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of your CEO, get rid of some really old employees who aren't very good at their jobs. Make aides and secretaries go to 12 hr shifts.
