    Pros

I believe St Luke's really believes in its mission and vision. They are doing innovative things both medically and as a business organization to better the health of the people in our region and figure out how to lower costs.

    Cons

The challenge is that St Luke's is a stubborn old giant or at least they are full of them... The HR system is one big stick in the mud especially if you are not in a medical role and the ability and training of lower management to really develop and foster creativity is lack luster. In addition to attract and keep high end talent you have to compensate them appropriately and unfortunately that is not the perspective St Luke's seems to have.

    Pros

mission statement, tuition reimbursement, ability to advance in another direction following master's.

    Cons

Having been employed for a very short time I have nothing yet to offer. In six months or so I should have a better idea of what's in need improvement.
