I have been working at Staff Pro

    Pros

Place of work: venues. True Team Environment. Quality Leadership. Room for growth. My opinion and contribution is appreciated and makes a difference in the day to day operations.

    Cons

Work-life is out of balance. Payrates are not competitive enough. Waffling in upper management sometimes stalls growth and lends frustration to the team

I have been working at Staff Pro part-time

    Pros

No minimum hours required, easily worked into my schedule, get to see shows while getting paid.

    Cons

Management is too busy "playing" with their girlfriends on the job, then act like you don't exist (completely non-approachable). No training - they don't even tell you how to handle situations then get upset with you when you don't do things as they want them done. Leadership means you go hide instead of supporting the staff doing the job. Only get the chance to promote if you are related to or sleeping with the manager(s). Embarrassing to have managers on the floor during events because of their habits. Public has complained, and we can only refer them back to the violator!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a training course in how to treat employees! Fond farewells to the public is stressed, yet you don't even smile at your own employees! If you want to keep quality people who will do a quality job for you, you need to support them , not just give them a pep talk at the start of shift then disappear!

    I worked at Staff Pro

    Pros

Get to see events for free.

    Cons

Poor management. Managers only look for how they can get out of working. They don't provide the tools to do the job yet blame those around them when something fails. Management does not support the employees and is unprofessional when talking to employees. Harassment is widespread.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Advice to corporate, get rid of management and start over with fresh people.

Just a stepping stone, not a career choice

I have been working at Staff Pro part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Decent supervisors and, if you actually do your job, you will be acknowledged, even if its just a simple "thank you for your hard work" at the end of the day.

    Cons

There's obvious bias for certain employees. The pay is relatively low for a seasonal security job. My branch didn't hire enough people for the season and ended up getting a whole bunch of people from a company called "Teen Chalenge" or "Placement Pro" doing the same job that I'm doing, while I have the training and they don't--which can lead to loads of weapons getting past bag checks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire less convicted felons
