SCB used to be known as a bank where ex-Citi people go to when they want to settle down and have kids. This may be less true now, but the culture is generally less cut-throat compared to Citi or HSBC.

Cons

Base pay and bonus lag behind other international banks, more comparable to local banks

Advice to Senior Management

Start paying more decent salaries or your best people will leave. Stop hiring so many senior people in Group who add to complexity but don't contribute meaningfully.
