I have been working at Standard Chartered Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A great culture with a diverse portfolio. The bank has an international feel with great professionals all working together to achieve the same goals.

    Cons

Pay structure is probably behind the market both in terms of base salary as well as bonus. Also perhaps overly focused on previous focus only on emerging markets.

    Advice to Management

Make an effort to structure pay to market levels to preserve the best talent. Individuals do not want to leave the bank for its culture but for its pay only.
