    Pros

Those identified as top performers are given lots of opportunity for upward and lateral mobility, which is good for people who prefer a general management (vs specialization) career track.

Senior management in London and other regional headquarters seem to care about making things better.

Values based organization which is open to giving back to the community. Lots of opportunity for volunteerism.

    Cons

Hard to navigate matrixed organisational structure - which often slows down decision making and results in lack of ownership (probably common with all large global companies?)

A lot of managers just focus on pleasing upper management, often ignoring or trying to cover up the real problems and issues.

Majority of internal infrastructure outdated or not user friendly

    Advice to Management

    Good job on people management.

  6. Usual politics, tough for contractors, as they are not treated with much respect by management.

    Pros

Great culture, collaborative, everyone takes a team approach and is respectful of one another in Talent Acquisition, America. The Head of the TA team is very supportive, patient, and realistic regarding deadlines and goals to be met. He is very hands-on and open with his lines of communication and direction. the TA group thinks like "true" business partners to the business lines we supported not HR drones kept in the dark. I give a thumbs up to working with this team.

    Cons

Lack of opportunities outside of Newark, NJ - which is a very undesirable working environment and unsafe location. The open work space concept can be very distracting which causes a disconnect due to people then searching for a quite place to work or from home.

    Advice to Management

    See above

Almost impossible to get a raise or a good bonus unless employee decides to move to another department/position
    Majority of systems are outdated

    Advice to Management

Invest money into new technology, human capital, and to keep current staff from leaving
