Not the place for IT career advancement.

    (Current Employee) Miami, FL

ProsNice corporate office environment. Good benefits and adequate compensation. Good working conditions.

ConsThe IT leadership does not have the adequate experience and vision to run a midsize IT department in the 21st century. This has created a demoralized, directionless and largely inefficient department where the associates do not respect their leaders, where mediocrity is a common denominator, and where there is no opportunity for growth or advancement.
The current IT managers add little value to the organization. They are out of touch with current technology and the tremendous value it can add to the company, if leveraged efficiently. They are also out of touch with the roles, responsibilities, skills and potential of the IT department employees.
It is a few talented people at the bottom who actually make the department chug along, with all the obstacles and ambiguity they face as result of having almost no guidance.
Most IT employees stay around just to get the paycheck and the company benefits.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe IT department needs experienced and competent IT leaders. They will create a motivated, driven IT organization that will effectively leverage technology to help the company achieve its business goals, instead of being the unfortunate misuse of money and resources that it is today.

    ...so so...

Sales Associate (Former Employee) Miami, FL

ProsLots of traveling, meeting new people, learning a bit about everything, great opportunity to develop yourself as a professional, good management team, making friend around the world.

ConsIts a continuous fight, to get better and better, because there a lot of people trying to get higher, as a position. Sometimes, there is not enough time to rest, work is a priority. You are always required to give the best, the pressure is high, but at the end of the day, you have a good feeling inside.

Advice to Senior ManagementMore appreciation towards the employees, more advices on how one can improve his job.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
