Pros
I loved the people I worked with until most of them quit due to new management.
-great people
-clean work environment
-overall great job
Cons
I personally hated the hours. Its either early in the morning or late at night and that is awesome if you don't go to college. Made it really stressful to focus ok school work
I felt like I didn't get paid enough to do half of the stuff that is required of you.
Pros
A great discount, great benefits and flexible scheduling.
Cons
Opening shifts were very difficulty, also during winter months where road conditions were very poor, it was very difficult to get managerial approval for a late opening (due to snow plows not being out before 5am, etc.)
Advice to Senior Management
Maintain professional respect for your employees.
Pros
Its fun and at times rewarding. Nobody really works there for the pay. People usually work for the fun of it or for the benefits. Oh and 30% off is a good thing to have. At the busier starbucks, the tips could be $1-2 an hour. Employees get a free pound of coffee or box of tea every week. Free drinks while you work. No uniforms.
Cons
You need to be very fast and detail oriented at the same time. Low pay for the work required.
Advice to Senior Management
Dont make it too complicated. Its coffee for goodness sake.
Pros
I really like that I can change my schedule to fit my personal life. Overall I think the company is full of great people that make it fun to go to work every day. The full benefits at part time hours is fantastic and very few, if any companies do that.
Cons
promotions and sales goals are changing all the time. there is very little time to properly learn all that needs to be learned and get used to doing whatever it is before it changes and the company and management is focused on something else. I understand that the company is trying to improve, but I think that staying focused for longer than one to two weeks at a time would be less stressfull on all partners and customers.
Advice to Senior Management
increase wage compensation for both hourly and salary partners
