    Pros

Depending on the account, the workload is less stressful than most other agencies.

Starcom has access to amazing resources to make your job easier.

Decent company culture that is consistent from team to team.

Leadership is optimistic and their vision is infectious.

Training is incomparable within the industry.

    Cons

With the restructure, one portion of the company called "Drive" has been royally screwed over. More accurately, it should be called "the slave ship." There is little use of thinking here, and whoever thought of this within the company is literally the worst. People get too stuck in rolls too specific with no transferable skills.

Compensation is abysmal, and the number one contributor to the high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the Define-Design-Drive and Deliver structure. Worst idea ever, and the agency has suffered since this was enacted.

    Pros

Fun culture and really easy work

    Cons

TERRIBLE pay, horrible work-life balance (depending on team), Lack of forward thinking, all "re-structures" cater to the image of the company instead of improving day to day function, lack of upward mobility - revolving door of employees (mostly d/t low pay and work/life balance)

    Advice to Management

Decrease number of employees and increase salaries - people would take their work more seriously if they were properly compensated for their time/efforts.

  3. I got a lot of hands on experience that interns usually don't receive - not administrative at all.

    Pros

Office culture was amazing, pay was decent, they really wanted to give us interns any opportunity to explore the rest of the agency, sit in on speakers, and shadow other employees.

    Cons

Could get slow at points, pay for regular employees isn't great, my team worked constantly, long hours are expected

    Advice to Management

Don't go on such a power struggle, those lower may have great ideas

    Pros

It looks good on your resume, that's literally it.. other than that, it's full of co-workers who will talk down to you, treat you with insane disrespect, and disregard your ideas out of interest for their own careers. You're not saving lives at this place.. you're strategically placing media which doesn't have to be so hard. You do not know what team you will be placed on after you complete the media associate interview so there is a chance you will be placed on one of the most clicky and cutthroat teams in the building. I have met some okay people (the ration is probably 1:5 people are decent) so there is a slim chance you will luck out with a collaborative team (Good Luck!!). Oh and last but not least- this job is one of the worst paying you can get out of college... definitely not worth putting yourself through the pain

    Cons

Working 60+ hours per week if you get on a large account. Horrible work life balance. Superficial colleagues. Open desk structure that is extremely weird and uncomfortable, it literally feels like you're in a some sort of third world sweat shop. Everyone is stressed out around you because everyone is dealing with high stress accounts. A very narrow minded environment where turnkey solutions trumps creative ideas. Extremely high turnover (it is a revolving door for a reason).. I can go on and on

    Advice to Management

Make respecting employees and work-life balance a number 1 priority. Have Directors and Managers interface with Associates beyond the Supervisors so they have a clear picture of the real team dynamic.

    Pros

    - Great experience to learn how a big agency functions
    - Access to a ton of resources and tools
    - Team members (well some anyway) are very helpful
    - Free drinks and snacks

    Cons

    - Upper management treats Associates and Temps terribly for really no reason
    - High turnover
    - Pay is awful for the amount of work people put into projects
    - This depends on what account you're on but the work-life balance can be awful
    - Upper management really do not know what they're doing sometimes

    Advice to Management

    - As most reviews on here say, I believe it would be wise for the company to actually invest in its workers. This would decrease the turnover rate and provide a more clear career path. I noticed that people, including myself, get trained fairly well and then leave for much better opportunities.

    - Promote people to higher level positions based on performance and not style or office politics. Most of my supervisors really did not know what they were doing most of the time during big projects and it was stressful.

    - Judging from my conversations with employees from other sister agencies such as Zenith, Spark, and etc., Publicis Groupe in general needs to treat their workers like actual people and not sheep.

    Pros

    - Great amount of time off.
    - Good people.
    - Great office location.
    - Great perks.
    - Good training programs
Overall good place to work right out of college.

    Cons

    -Pay
-Compensation for employee hard work and dedication
    - Not all teams are treated equally.
    - Some managers are harder to work with than others
    - Not all entry level associates are given same opportunity

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to those on the bottom. The one doing the day to day leg work seem to get the least attention.
