Pros – 1. Good pay
2. Good initial learning
3. Good in resume
4. Good stock options
5. Can stick to a technical career

Cons – 1. Absolutely crappy facilities
2. Management might want to trap you into a particular field if it does not have enough resources there. So moving out of that particular group becomes difficult.
3. Absolutely no employee participation in appraisal - no one to one etc.
