    Pros

They don't interfere with the day to day activities and will try to solve any issues

    I worked at Starpoint Solutions

    Pros

The compensation was decent for a first job... work life was alright as well, I learned a lot of new things, and met a lot of interesting folks, I owe that to being placed where I was placed.

    Cons

I didn't really care for the time off policies... not for myself, but for other fellow contractors who actually had real home issues that caused them to miss two days. I get it, they can't be soft, but they don't have to be so cold about it either.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Overall they do a good job... I really have no comments regarding improvement.

    Pros

Potential to place you with a great company.

    Cons

BUT, they will lie to that company to get you in the door and once that said company finds out the truth, they will not hire you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Tell your recruiters to be honest.

I worked at Starpoint Solutions full-time

    Pros

Great learning experience for someone getting into the recruiting field. The office I worked with was small and friendly. Everyone was very positive.

    Cons

There was no clear career path. You have to be very outgoing and create your own business if you go into sales. On the other hand recruiting is also very competitive. You might talk to a candidate early in the day and have other recruiters calling them soon after.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If someone is interested in sales, maybe suggest they go along with a senior sales person to see how they pitch. That way they can take some insight from this and build their own.
Side by sides with a Sr. Sales person during a few pitches over the phone would also have been helpful. Coaching, and practice is very different then seeing or hearing it with an actual client.
Have real reviews with your staff, point out what they can improve and offer suggestions on how to improve practices.
