    Pros

Great hours, you know you're going to get off on time, great job security (strong union), great people. Great people made this job amazing.

    Cons

Many people don't like to work. The stereotype for State employees can be true. Also, sometimes you have overnight travel for many months. Money is okay, but not great. The State's budget is in trouble, which is hurting the pension.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please give the department heads more power to hire/move employees around.
