    Pros

Insurance is good. Money is decent. Retirement is also a plus the match you up to 4% on your contributions.

    Cons

Forced to work 16 hours 6 days a week. They refuse to give you time off for doctors appointments and punish you if you have a doctors appt. scheduled and after your shift.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to realize that the little people that work for the state have lives too and shouldnt be forced to work 16 hour days 6 days a week.

    Pros

Fast paced environment with lots of customer interaction. Management was very friendly and helpful. Professional staff.

    Cons

Some branch offices have too many customers for the number of employees that visit the office. Would be nice if the customers were more informed about policies.

    Pros

Stability, consistent employment with very little that can be done to get rid of you once you become an employee of the State, and benefits are decent.

    Cons

Low pay, extreme office politics, poor policies, difficult work environment to get anything done. This results in people who are only looking for stability or benefits, and many of the workers are there to put in their 9-5 and go home; little commitment to the work we do, less enjoyment and no enthusiasm.

    Advice to Management

Pay people better, get rid of people who are ineffective at their job. Most managers don't have any metrics for judging performance of employees, so it becomes a sea of individuals who would not be hired elsewhere.
